Prevent the outcomes you don't want.

PRVNTR is the internal brain for a small business's money. You record what you sell, what it costs you and what you lose; it works out the real profit underneath. The outcomes you don't want become things you can see coming — not things you discover at the end of the quarter.

What it is

The shop is yours. The brain is ours.

PRVNTR is an internal system of record, and it never becomes a storefront. Your customers never see it, never hold an account in it, and never check out through it — that surface is your brand's job, and putting it here would only get in the way of it.

Yours

Your storefront, your app, your counter.

Your brand, your layout, your customers, your checkout. Everything a buyer ever sees stays on your side of the line.

PRVNTR

The ledger, the dashboards, the limits.

Internal views for you and your team: the catalog, every movement of money, and what it all adds up to. No buyer accounts, no public item pages, no checkout.

What it prevents

Three ways a small business quietly loses money.

None of them announce themselves. Each one is visible the moment the underlying facts are written down honestly — which is the one thing PRVNTR asks of you.

1

Selling below cost without noticing.

Every item carries its own cost, and every sale snapshots that cost at the moment it happens — so last spring's margin stays accurate even after you re-price today. Margin reads per item and per category, in whole cents. A price that stopped working shows up as a number instead of a feeling.

2

Losses that never reach a sales total.

Stock that leaves without selling is written off with its reason attached — damaged, stolen, expired, lost. A refund reverses a sale without erasing it from history. Operating expenses sit on their own line rather than disappearing into a vague overhead. What you read at the end is revenue − cost − write-offs − refunds − expenses, not turnover wearing a better name.

3

Recurring costs draining you in the background.

A subscription, a rental, a retainer — a cost that accrues whether or not anything sells. PRVNTR accrues it on a calendar-day clock and keeps it in the profit line all month, not just when the invoice lands. Freeze it while it is paused and the clock stops with it, so you are never charged, on paper, for time you weren't paying for.

Getting the facts in

Whether or not you have a website.

By hand, in a browser

No integration, nothing to install, no developer. Manage the catalog and record each sale as it happens. This is the whole product for a business that doesn't sell online.

By code, from your own app

Official Python and JavaScript/TypeScript SDKs over the versioned /v1/ingest API, authenticated with one key per business. Send an Idempotency-Key and a retry can never double-book a sale.

By sync

Planned

Connect the platform you already sell on and let PRVNTR import the orders itself, with no code from you. Not built yet — the push side above is what ships today.

For developers

When an integration breaks, you shouldn't have to ask us why.

Every ingest call your business makes is recorded with its outcome and its error code, visible in your own API Integration panel. Failed calls keep their payload, so you can see exactly which one failed and what the server made of it.

Errors come back as a structured { code, detail } on every endpoint, and both SDKs map the code onto a typed exception.

We run on it ourselves: PRVNTR records its own subscription revenue by calling its own SDK, through the same API you'd use.

Also in the app

Offers you judge, and records you can take with you.

Offers, recorded and ranked

Open an item to offers and log each one as it reaches you — the price, plus an optional note to tell them apart. They sit highest-first with the best one marked, and accepting an offer sells the item at that price.

No bidder accounts and no outsider access — the same boundary as everything else. You know your buyers; whether an offer is worth taking stays your call.

Your records, exportable

Take everything out whenever you want: a JSON export of your personal account, and a CSV archive of the whole business — catalog, sales, costs and losses, in the same cents the dashboards use.

Deleting a business removes its records with it, in full. Nothing is kept back as leverage to make you stay.

Basic is the floor, not a trial — it doesn't expire and it doesn't ask for a card. Every plan is the whole product; the tiers only change how much you can put in it.

Going over a cap locks writing, never reading — your books stay open and legible whatever happens to the subscription. Cancel or downgrade and you keep the plan you paid for until the end of the period, then land back on Basic with every record intact.

Coming soon

Where it goes next.

None of this is built, and none of it has a date. It's here so you know the direction before you put your catalog into it.

Planned

The full money module

As the integration matures, PRVNTR grows from the slice of money you push it today into the complete internal record of money in and out, end to end.

Planned

AI pricing

Pricing help built from your own recorded facts, on Premium. It lays the facts down and you make the call — PRVNTR never prices on your behalf.

Planned

Sync connectors

Connect the store or spreadsheet you already use and let orders import themselves, so you never write a line of code to keep the books current.

Start with one honest number.

Create a business, add a category and a handful of items, then record the next sale the way it actually happened. The dashboard starts answering from there.
